Outreach & Missions

Jesus commissioned His followers to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Part of our vision as a church is to continue to grow our relationships with those in our community and around the world. Our church exists to know Christ and to go into the whole world to complete His great commission and reach our communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our denomination, The Christian and Missionary Alliance, doesn’t just serve locally, but globally as well. We have ministries in many countries around the world, ministries that seek to reach the lost. Here at First Alliance, we serve in various places around Great Falls.

Inca Link

We partner with Inca Link, a ministry formed by Alliance international workers Rich and Elisa Brown with a vision for reaching the 300+ million youth of Latin America with the irresistible love of Christ.  Inca Link has ministries in Peru, Columbia, Ecuador, and Honduras, with plans to expand to additional countries over the next ten years. Our partnership involves financial investment in their vision of expansion and sending short-term teams to support the ministries in Peru specifically.  You can learn more about Inca Link by visiting incalink.org.

Currently, we are raising funds to send a team of twelve to Peru in the summer of 2020.  One of the ways you can get involved is by supporting our Short-Term Missions Auction on March 29, 2020 at 5 p.m. at the church.  Dinner will be provided, and many items will be up for live and silent bid, including vacation stays, home décor, camping equipment, jewelry, gift baskets, and much more.  We are also accepting donations of new and used items from individuals and area businesses. All proceeds will support the team’s expenses and ministry materials as well as resources and supplies for the youth being served.  To see a flyer of the ministries in which our team will be involved, click here.

Envision Wired

We have partnered with Alliance missionaries in San Salvador, El Salvador. Their ministry there is called “Wired”.  This name has been chosen because their ministry partnerships are not limited to the country of El Salvador and they have helped with churches in surrounding countries. Their desire is to see people become “wired” to missions, El Salvador, the people of Central America, the missionaries, and most importantly to God and His heart for the world.

We have partnered with them through prayer and the sending of teams down to El Salvador. We hope to send another team in the future as we have one of our own serving there.

Great Falls Rescue Mission

The Great Falls Rescue Mission reaches out to needy and homeless men, women, and children. They are committed to meeting the needs of the wholeperson: spiritually, mentally and physically (from the GFRM website). Every third Tuesday of the month, you can find people from FAC serving meals at the Rescue Mission from 5:15pm-7:00pm. In addition to this, we also help the Rescue Mission in other ways, such as utensil wrapping and meal serving for their many community events.

Cascade County Detention Center

One of the various services provided to inmates at the Cascade County Detention Center is access to the library. Currently, there is an urgent need for volunteers to serve in the library to help distribute books. We have partnered with the Detention Center in other ways, such as holding book drives.
